Which lathe and mill boards do you repair ?
At this time we repair DC 'brush-type' motor control boards for Sieg-manufactured mini-lathes and mini-mills. This is the most common type of low-cost machine seen in the US, since it is sold by the largest number of retailers.
There are several non-OEM controllers sold as replacements for the original boards. You should contact the manufacturer of these boards if you need service on these boards. If you have doubts about where your board was made, please compare it with the photos on my web site, or send me an email with a picture.
Note : There is a 7x14 mini lathe made by Yangzhou Real Bull Machinery and sold in the US by Big Dog Machine Works, and we are not currently repairing these boards.
Do you sell parts ?
I can sell parts for you to repair your own board - however I will not accept returns for any parts once they have been shipped. Mosfets and pots are available for the do-it-yourselfer.
Do you have schematics ?
Sorry, but by agreement with Sieg, I cannot release schematic diagrams of their boards. There are a number of internet sites that have schematics of some of the boards, but there are many variations and versions of these boards, so be warned that you may not find the exact schematic you are looking for.
